2 The words of Christ which he spake unto his disciples, the twelve whom he had chosen, as he laid his hands upon them. 2 And he called them by name, saying, Ye shall call on the Father in my name in mighty prayer, and after that ye have done this, ye shall have power that on him whom ye shall lay your hands, ye shall give the holy ghost. And in my name shall ye give it, for thus do mine apostles. 3 Now Christ spake these words unto them at the time of his first appearing, and the multitude heard it not, but the disciples heard it. And on as many as they laid their hands fell the holy ghost.

2 The words that Christ spoke to His disciples, the twelve He had chosen, as He laid His hands on them. 2 He called them by name, saying: You must call on the Father in My name in mighty prayer. After you’ve done this, you’ll have power to give the Holy Ghost to anyone you lay your hands on. And you must confer the Holy Ghost in My name since this is what My messengers do. 3 Now Christ told them this when He first appeared to them. But the crowd of people didn’t hear it; however, the disciples did. And the Holy Ghost descended upon anyone they laid their hands on.
